Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    This role is responsible to manage the C&I Shift and Schnider DCS. This includes scheduling and performing regular system backups, maintenance, and troubleshooting, as well as coordinating with OEMs for system upgrades. The role also involves managing hardware and software resources, network integrity, and cybersecurity measures to prevent data loss and system vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    Shift Engineer - Handle C&I shift duty and responsible to attend defects of Boiler & TG area during shift. - Ensure safety by using PPE's before taking up the job. - Ensure permit to work issue with proper isolation. - Coordinate or follow up with department for any interface problems. - Knowledge of SAP. - Maintenance of MOV and PCV in boiler area and its control associated with Foxboro DCS & PLC. - Good Process knowledge. - No logic change without prior approval. - Quick response in emergencies - Ensure timely light up of units after S/D and overhauling. - Ensure calibration of the instruments as per the PM Schedule. - Knowledge sharing with subordinates. - Timely & proper feedback to superior.

    Control Loop tuning and Optimisation-APL,Digitization and Automation-APL,Emergency Response-APL,Instrument Calibration and Maintenance-APL,Inventory and Spares Parts Management-APL,Performance and Root Cause Analysis-APL,Process Control Systems-APL,Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)-APL

Qualifications and Experience


    Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in C&I or Electronics & Communication or equivalent degree. Work Experience (Range of years): 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, specifically with DCS Systems. Preferred Industry: Experience in the power generation, petrochemical, oil and gas, or heavy industrial sectors.
