Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Oversee preparation of technical documentation and ensure its timeliness and quality to meet desired delivery schedule

  • Create designs which match customer requirements using mechanical codes and standards. Also review designs produced by team members

  • Proactively identify common issues and ensure its resolution to avoid repeat nonconformities

  • Collaborate with purchase, external vendors for BOM preparation for parts and ensure component budget accuracy

  • Ensure order closure received from customers to provided visibility to inter departmental teams

  • Manage team of mechanical and provide feedback to improve performance

  • Actively follow 5S procedures and participate in 5 S / kaizen / System Improvement activities

Preferred candidate profile

  • Knowledge of technical standards

  • Knowledge of ASME SEC VIII Div.1, TEMA, API, ASTM Standards

  • Other ASME and ASTM, Material Standards

  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, PVELITE , Caeser -II , AutoCAD Plant 3D , Cadworks.
