Job Description

**Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive annual training calendar aligned with company objectives.
  • Conduct training needs assessments across departments to identify skill gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with Manufacturing team to analyse the trends of productivity, defects, breakdowns and accidents to identify skill, knowledge and behaviour gaps in workforce. Study the new products and process requirements to identify skill requirements.
  • Design and develop skilling modules, training content and training modules. Train the trainers for effective delivery.
  • Plan and implement training programs (in-house and external) including onboarding, compliance, leadership development, and role-specific training.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, metrics, and performance results; continuously improve content and delivery methods. Design suitable assessment methodologies for gauging training effectiveness and transfer of learnings.
  • Manage a team of trainers or external consultants, ensuring high-quality program delivery.
  • Maintain training records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with functional heads and ensure alignment between training and business needs.
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts through inclusive training strategies.
  • Ensure coverage of 100% population with Mandatory training programs as per the calendar.
  • Coordinate with other functions to rollout training programs specific to their function and ensure they are delivered.
  • Ensure the Dexterity facility (training centre) is well maintained and operational all the time.
  • Ensure digitalisation of training to improve effectiveness and reduce costs.
  • Evaluate various Government skilling schemes and programmes , apprenticeship schemes, earn and learn programmes from skill certification perspective and guide plant teams for implementation.
  • Develop/trainee/Prepare trainees/employees for skilling competitions, QCFI and other competitions.

Preferred candidate profile

* Hands on exposure in skilling of workforce, design and development of technical/functional training modules.

* Good understanding of manufacturing processes, Quality systems, and technical know-how of tools and equipments.

* Well aware of instructional design methodology, training effectiveness, design/evaluation of training tools/equipments.
