Deputy Manager Human Resources

As the Deputy Manager HR at Blue Star Limited's Manufacturing Facility in Wada, Palghar District, Maharashtra, you will be instrumental in overseeing the blue-collar workforce operations and supporting HR activities for staff employees at the plant. Your role will encompass end-to-end blue-collar recruitment, liaison with contractors, HR operations for staff employees, and active involvement in key HR initiatives and special projects. Your responsibilities will include leading the recruitment of blue-collar manpower, collaborating with department heads to align deployment plans with production needs, focusing on skill compatibility and productivity, managing operational activities for blue-collar employees, ensuring training before deployment, executing trainee operator hiring and deployment plans, and supporting internal and external audits related to blue-collar manpower. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing HR operational activities for Management Staff, serving as the primary contact for M-Staff queries, providing support in employee engagement programs, training initiatives, and performance appraisal cycles. You will also oversee the operations of the Worker Facilitation Centre, coordinate audits, and assist in special HR projects as assigned. Your role will involve preparing and maintaining MIS reports and dashboards, ensuring data integrity in HR systems, and supporting data requirements for senior management. The ideal candidate will have experience in blue-collar workforce management, strong communication skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks, proficiency in HR systems and data management, and preferably experience in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of labor laws, and contractor management expertise.
