 Deputy Manager - Business Loans - Indirect 
 Job Summary 
The Deputy Manager - Business Loans - Indirect is responsible for managing and growing the portfolio of business loans sourced through indirect sales channels. This role involves overseeing relationships with channel partners, driving loan disbursement targets, ensuring compliance, and supporting the regional business loan strategy. The Deputy Manager will work closely with sales teams, credit teams, and external partners to deliver financial solutions tailored to business clients.  Key Responsibilities 
  • Develop and manage relationships with indirect channel partners, including DSAs, brokers, and other intermediaries to generate business loan leads.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned targets for loan disbursements, portfolio growth, and revenue generation.
  • Conduct due diligence and preliminary screening of loan applications received through indirect channels.
  • Coordinate with credit, risk, and operations teams to ensure timely processing and disbursal of business loans.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and ensure healthy asset quality.
  • Train and support channel partners on product offerings, processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and audit requirements.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and improve offerings.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales, pipeline, and portfolio performance for management review.
  • Resolve partner and customer issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.

  •  Qualifications and Skills 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business loans, SME lending, or channel management within BFSI sector.
  • Strong understanding of business loan products, credit assessment, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and loan management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Results-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  •  Work Environment 
    This position typically operates in a professional office environment with regular interactions with channel partners and internal departments. Occasional travel may be required.  Reporting To
