Deputy Manager

As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the procurement process by handling various responsibilities related to core procurement, strategic sourcing, contract preparation, procurement through rate contracts, post-order management, supplier management, and data analytics. Your key responsibilities include: - **Purchase Requisition (PR) Review**: - Assist in reviewing approved PRs from user departments and ensuring correctness and completeness. - Identify the type and method of procurement based on material/services to be procured, nature of PR, stocks availability, rate contract, value, and delivery timeline. - **Strategic Sourcing for Capex, Opex, Bulk Material & Services**: - Contribute to the strategic sourcing process by participating in activities such as vendor selection, bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract preparation. - Prepare RFI, RFP documents, and conduct fact-based negotiations/e-auctions with shortlisted bidders. - **Contract Preparation and Order Placement**: - Prepare contract documents as per protocols and standard templates. - Set up approved contract records within the ERP system and maintain them for future reference. - **Procurement Through Rate Contracts**: - Prepare, review, and issue rate contracts based on approved NFAs. - Manage master outline agreements in the ERP system and prepare POs/SOs under valid rate contracts. - **Supplier Management**: - Identify and onboard suppliers/vendors based on evaluation criteria. - Evaluate vendor performance, provide feedback, and plan improvement actions. - Establish strategic partnerships with suppliers/vendors for long-term benefits. - **Data Management and Analytics**: - Collate and analyze data related to procurement activities for respective categories. - Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and value through data analysis and contribute to action planning. **Qualifications**: - More than 5 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, and related areas. This role requires a proactive approach, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple procurement activities effectively.
