Deputy General Manager

As a Cluster Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day logistics operations within the cluster. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all activities are in line with company standards and operational objectives. You will work closely with the Cluster Leadership team to develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing logistics performance. A key aspect of your role will involve establishing and monitoring key logistics KPIs, such as Order vs. Execution Rate, Turnaround Time (TAT), On Time in Full (OTIF), and Customer Service Metrics. By analyzing these metrics, you will be able to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions to enhance process efficiencies and improve customer satisfaction. In terms of inventory management, you will be responsible for implementing and managing both Push and Pull replenishment models based on seasonal demand, customer requirements, and inventory flow goals. You will collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure seamless operations. Your role will also involve overseeing infrastructure planning to meet seasonal demands and peak operational periods. You will be responsible for ensuring that all logistics infrastructure, including storage, handling, and transportation facilities, is prepared to support high-demand seasons effectively. Efficient depot operations will be a focus area, where you will manage depot layouts, storage capacity, and process flows to enhance efficiency and productivity. You will drive initiatives to improve product freshness, minimize stock losses, and maximize inventory turnover. Regulatory compliance is a critical aspect of the role, requiring you to ensure that all depots within the cluster adhere to local and national regulatory standards. Regular compliance audits will be conducted to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective measures as necessary. Transportation management will also fall under your purview, where you will assess and manage vendor partnerships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery solutions. You will oversee transportation execution from depots to customers, driving continuous improvement in transportation routes, scheduling, and vendor performance. Cost management will be a key focus area, where you will drive cost-efficiency strategies across all logistics functions within the cluster. Monitoring and managing budgets effectively to align logistics expenses with the cluster's financial targets will be essential for success in this role.,
