Now, as we reimagine Brand Equity for a multimedia future — spanning print, digital, video, and IP — we’re looking for a Deputy Editor who can help lead this transformation.

The Role:

As Deputy Editor, you’ll work closely with the Editor to define the editorial vision, drive compelling storytelling, and ensure Brand Equity continues to set the agenda for India’s marketing and business ecosystem.

You’ll be as comfortable analysing business and brand strategy as you are decoding cultural trends — with the ability to turn sharp insight into powerful journalism that resonates with CMOs, CEOs, and creative leaders alike.

What You’ll Do:

• Shape and execute Brand Equity’s editorial strategy across print, digital, and events.

• Commission and edit features, columns, and interviews that drive conversation and impact.

• Lead the newsroom creatively — mentoring reporters and sharpening story ideas.

• Build and leverage relationships with CMOs, agency heads, and business leaders.

• Bring a multimedia lens to storytelling — from long-form features to social-native content.

• Collaborate on Brand Equity’s marquee IPs and industry events.

What You Bring:

• 12+ years of strong editorial experience in business, marketing, brands, or media.

• Proven ability to lead teams and shape narrative direction.

• Exceptional editing, commissioning, and headline skills.

• Deep curiosity about how business, brands, and culture intersect.

• Strong network across the marketing, advertising, and business ecosystem.

• Ambition to help reinvent a legacy brand for a new era.
