How you'll make an impact

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Global Thought Leadership Editor and Senior Content Editor to develop and
    deliver high-quality content across diverse topics, enhancing reputation, driving revenue growth, and strengthening client relationships.
  • Build and maintain a sustainable pipeline of high-quality content and materials to support front-line
    sales and relationship teams in engaging customers and creating business value.
  • Translate topic themes, research, and insights into compelling narratives that help stakeholders make
    informed decisions on business challenges and opportunities.
  • Champion editorial standards by providing practical recommendations and guidance to topic experts
    and content contributors.
  • Coach and mentor a team of content writers, supporting their current articles and enhancing their
    content writing skills.
  • Sub-edit content to align with the global style guide, ensuring it meets the requirements of the
    stakeholders, the content brief and resonates with the target audience and market.
  • Research, write, edit, and deliver high-quality, up-to-date content that reflects current market practices
    and meets business objectives.
  • Partner with the Global Content team and marketing project leads to ensure timely and budget-conscious
    delivery of marketing and communication projects, addressing them proactively.
  • Support and mentor colleagues in writing, maintaining content, and addressing internal stakeholder
    queries.
  • Communicate complex ideas clearly and engagingly across various content formats, including white
    papers, e-books, brochures, campaign publications, and newsletters.
  • Lead and contribute to team, business, and leadership sessions to drive collaboration, alignment and to
    enhance content quality through external insights and expertise.

Competencies:
  • Content Review & Editing: Carefully review and edit articles to ensure they align with the provided briefs, style guides, and specific stakeholder requirements for online publication that reflects current risk and insurance industry trends. Focus on maintaining consistency in tone,voice, and messaging to reflect the brand's identity. Ensure the content resonates with the target audience, incorporates current trends, and meets the intended objectives effectively.
  • Feedback & Coaching: Provide detailed and constructive feedback on drafts, emphasizing areas for improvement while encouraging creativity and innovation. Offer actionable suggestions and alternative approaches to enhance the quality of the content.Mentor writers by guiding them on brainstorming ideas, structuring projects, and improving their overall efficiency and consistency in delivering high-quality work.
  • Collaboration & Guidance: Work closely with writers to address research questions and prepare for client discovery sessions or Subject Matter Expert (SME) calls. Facilitate productive discussions by helping writers refine their approach, clarify objectives, and develop a deeper understanding of the project requirements. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages open communication and idea sharing.
  • Narrative Crafting: Create and maintain engaging and relevant narratives tailored to various content formats, such as articles, blogs, whitepapers, and marketing materials. Ensure the storytelling is compelling, aligns with the brand's goals, and effectively communicates the intended message to the audience.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed about the latest trends, innovations, and best practices in content marketing, storytelling, and related fields. Regularly explore new ideas and strategies to enhance content development processes.Share insights and recommendations with the team to ensure the content remains fresh, relevant, and competitive in the market.
  • Stakeholder Satisfaction: Contribute meaningfully to team, business, and leadership meetings by offering insights, collaborating on ideas, and driving progress. Attend sessions prepared with key objectives, data, and materials to support discussions and decision-making.

Project Delivery:
  • Efficient Time Management: Adhere to deadlines by prioritizing tasks, allocating time effectively, and proactively addressing delays. Use tools to stay organized and ensure all deliverables are completed on schedule without compromising quality.
  • Timely Communication: Maintain prompt and consistent communication with team members, providing feedback and addressing concerns quickly to avoid delays. Foster collaboration to ensure smooth progress and timely project completion.

About you

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a content writing, thought leadership development, journalism and/or content writing.
  • Any Graduate or Post Graduate
    role. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Expertise in refining content for clarity, accuracy, and engagement.
    Skilled in fact-checking, citations, and using credible data.
  • Ability to guide teams and collaborate effectively.
  • Experience with international partners, leading meetings, and driving sessions.
