Job Description

Deputy Area Manager - Debt Management Services - SME
Job Purpose
To achieve the assigned branch's Debt Management Services targets while ensuring monthly target fulfillment within specified cost limits. Duties and Responsibilities

Achieve collections target by visiting customers/agencies.

Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates and proper guidelines.

Review and track milestones.

Ensure legal guidelines are complied with while repossessing products.

Travel with Relationship Officers (ROs) as required.

Timely allocation of cases among team members.

Proficient in Excel for tracking and reporting.

Daily tracking of team members' performance.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues.

Manage Daily Risk Report (DRR).

Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.

Counsel and groom direct reportees to enhance and polish their skill sets.

Manage a team of collection officers to achieve overall targets.

Rectify problems encountered during the collection process.

Manage average collection reports to monitor and improve collection performance.

Legal recovery for Urban NPL Wheels (Vehicle Finance) repo and legal management.

Litigation and case management.

Compliance and risk mitigation.

Reporting and documentation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience in debt collection, preferably in SME or vehicle finance sectors.

Strong proficiency in Excel and data tracking.

Experience in legal recovery and case management is preferred.

Ability to manage and lead a team to meet collection targets.

Knowledge of compliance, risk mitigation, and legal processes related to debt management.

Excellent communication, counseling, and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to travel as required.
