 Deputy Area Manager - Debt Management Services - SME 
 Job Purpose 
To achieve the assigned branch's Debt Management Services targets while ensuring monthly target fulfillment within the specified cost limits.  Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Achieve collections target by visiting customers/agency.
  • Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates and proper guidelines.
  • Review and track milestones.
  • Ensure legal guidelines are complied with while repossessing products.
  • Travel with the Relationship Officers (ROs).
  • Timely allocation of cases to team members.
  • Proficient in Excel; daily tracking of team members' performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues.
  • Daily Risk Report (DRR) management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.
  • Counsel and groom direct reportees to enhance and polish their skill sets.
  • Manage a team of collection officers to achieve overall targets.
  • Rectify problems encountered during the collection process.
  • Manage average collection reports to monitor and improve collection performance.
  • Legal recovery for Urban NPL Wheels (Vehicle Finance) repo and legal management.
  • Litigation and case management.
  • Compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Reporting and documentation.

  •  Required Qualifications and Experience 
  • Experience in achieving collections targets by visiting customers/agencies.
  • Proven ability to monitor performance, provide updates, and offer proper guidelines.
  • Experience with milestone reviewing and tracking.
  • Knowledge of legal guidelines for product repossession.
  • Willingness to travel with Relationship Officers (ROs).
  • Ability to allocate cases to team members in a timely manner.
  • Proficiency in Excel and tracking team performance.
  • Competence in maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Ability to handle escalations effectively and promptly.
  • Experience in Daily Risk Report (DRR) management.
  • Skill in developing and implementing strategies to improve collection rates.
  • Experience in counseling and grooming team members.
  • Team management experience, especially with collection officers.
  • Problem-solving skills in the collection process.
  • Ability to manage and report on average collection performance.
  • Knowledge of legal recovery for Urban NPL Wheels (Vehicle Finance) and repo/legal management.
  • Familiarity with litigation and case management.
  • Understanding of compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Experience with reporting and documentation.
