 Deputy Area Manager - Debt Management Services - Rural 
 Job Purpose 
The Debt Management Specialist is responsible for managing delinquent accounts, recovering overdue payments, and maintaining strong financial relationships with clients.  Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Achieve collections targets by visiting customers or agencies.
  • Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates and proper guidelines.
  • Review and track milestones.
  • Ensure legal guidelines are complied with while repossessing products.
  • Travel with Relationship Officers (ROs) as necessary.
  • Timely allocation of cases to team members.
  • Proficient in Excel for daily tracking of team members' performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues.
  • Daily DRR (Daily Risk Report) management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.
  • Counsel and groom direct reportees to enhance and polish their skill sets.
  • Manage a team of collection officers to achieve overall targets.
  • Rectify problems encountered during the collection process.
  • Manage average collection reports to monitor and improve collection performance.
  • Legal recovery for Urban NPL Wheels (Vehicle Finance) repo and legal management.
  • Litigation and case management.
  • Compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Reporting and documentation.

  •  Required Qualifications and Experience 
  • Experience in achieving collections targets through customer or agency visits.
  • Ability to monitor performance and provide updates and guidelines.
  • Experience in milestone review and tracking.
  • Understanding of legal compliance in repossession processes.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Experience in timely allocation of cases to team members.
  • Proficiency in Excel for daily performance tracking.
  • Strong record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to handle escalations and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Experience in daily DRR management.
  • Strategic thinking to improve collection rates.
  • Ability to counsel and develop team members.
  • Team management experience, especially with collection officers.
  • Problem-solving skills in the collection process.
  • Experience managing collection reports and improving performance.
  • Legal recovery and vehicle finance repo and legal management experience.
  • Litigation and case management skills.
