Department Manager

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations to ensure all departments function efficiently. This includes monitoring sales performance, implementing strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets, managing staff schedules and performance, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Additionally, you will be in charge of inventory management, coordinating with suppliers, monitoring store hygiene and appearance, ensuring compliance with regulations, and preparing sales and expense reports for management review. Your role will also involve leading, motivating, and training store staff to deliver strong performance and maintain team morale. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily store operations - Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets - Manage staff schedules, attendance, and performance - Ensure high standards of customer service - Maintain inventory levels and minimize shrinkage - Coordinate with suppliers for timely receipt of goods - Monitor store hygiene, visual merchandising, and overall appearance - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company regulations - Prepare and analyze sales and expense reports - Lead, motivate, and train store staff Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in retail management - Strong leadership and communication skills - Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions - Knowledge of inventory management and customer service best practices - Familiarity with health, safety, and company regulations Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund.
