Broadway is redefining premium retail by bringing together digital-first and experience-led brands under one roof. Our Beauty & Personal Care category is a hero segment, and we re looking for a Department Manager to lead the category s sales, operations, and customer experience.

Role Overview:

The Department Manager BPC will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing inventory, leading a team of beauty experts, and executing category-specific activations. This role is perfect for someone who blends operational excellence with a deep passion for beauty and personal care trends.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the BPC department to achieve sales, productivity, and profitability targets.
Ensure category presentation, merchandising, and visual standards are met and refreshed as per guidelines.
Train, coach, and mentor the BPC team on product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer service excellence.
Monitor inventory health manage stock replenishment, shrinkage control, and returns.
Build and maintain strong relationships with brand partners to drive in-store activations and training sessions.
Analyse sales data, category trends, and customer feedback to optimise assortment and promotions.
Ensure compliance with store SOPs, hygiene standards, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to plan beauty events and launches.

Key Requirements:

6 8 years of retail experience, with at least 3 years managing a BPC or cosmetics department in premium retail or beauty brands (Sephora, Nykaa Luxe, Shopper s Stop, Lifestyle, etc.).
Strong product knowledge in skincare, makeup, fragrances, and personal care.
Excellent people leadership skills with experience in managing 10+ staff.
Commercial mindset with strong analytical and reporting abilities.
Passion for the beauty industry and staying ahead of emerging trends.
