Job Description

Job Purpose The Delivery Manager will be responsible for on time delivery of high-quality solutions while ensuring that our SDLC and best practices are followed. The ideal candidate should have passion for technology, the ability to lead and work hands-on in development initiatives, as well as be able to identify and grow talent. Being in this role involves being open to change and new ways of solving problems and having the ability to get involved in estimation and troubleshooting when required. The purpose of the role is to manage delivery by driving various projects, operations, and delivery governance Responsibilities Create work breakdown structure, estimate and sprint plan the delivery Create Release plans for QA, UAT and production, including the proposed scope for each of the releases Identify Risks, communicate them clearly to the stakeholders with likely impact on delivery as well as mitigation plan or help needed to mitigate risks Responsible for overall quality of builds delivered to QA Responsible for monitoring QA, UAT and production exceptions - identify high priority ones and ensure they are fixed Monitor customer support tickets, ensure they are investigated and delivered within SLA Monitor App stability - 95%+ crash free users and usage every month. Monitor App review comments in Google play store and Apple app store Manage and coordinate communication with the Product team, IT team, BA team and Client team where necessary. Understand organization priorities and best interests, ensure Org interests are prioritized Responsible for planning and execution for the recommended platform initiatives Responsible for team members productivity and ensure their growth. Allocating and effectively managing resources across work streams. Work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams to ensure delivery excellence and efficiency Ensure to maintain and keep the standard operating procedures for all the reports and other documentation up to date Required Skills & Experience 12+ Years of Experience Experience with Agile Development. Experience of working for SaMD will be an added advantage. Technology focused, agnostic to tools and adaptable to change in technology In-depth knowledge on the software tools Demonstrated excellence in domain knowledge and operational management skills. Excellent attention to detail and adherence to defined development & QA processes, ensuring bare minimal error is present in all deliveries Good understanding of best practices of software engineering in delivery, development Methodologies Proficiency in handling stakeholders across different teams and managing expectations of the stakeholders Excellent communication, good problem solving skills, stakeholder, and people management skills. Required Education Bachelor s degree in computer science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Equivalent.
