Databricks Platform Architect Location Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Noida/Pune/JaipurFull Timer PermanentLooking for resources who can start ASAP Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and proactive Platform Engineering Admin with strong experience in AWS administration and Databricks platform management. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining platform stability, performance, and security across cloud and big data environments. Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost-efficiencyAdminister and monitor Databricks environment including cluster management, user access, job scheduling, and performance optimizationCollaborate with data engineering and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as codeImplement and manage platform-level security, compliance, and governance best practicesTroubleshoot platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measuresCreate and maintain documentation for platform configurations, processes, and best practicesSupport onboarding of new users, access management, and training on platform usageMonitor resource usage and optimize performance and cost through right-sizing and usage policies Required Skills:Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, etc.)Must be familiar with latest features of DatabricksProven experience in Databricks administration, including workspace setup, cluster configuration, user/group roles, and notebook managementExperience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automationFamiliarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC toolsGood understanding of networking, security, and DevOps practicesAble to do POCs and provision them for usage validating the security aspects etcStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyExcellent communication and documentation skills Good to Have:AWS certification (Solutions Architect / SysOps Admin)Experience with other data platforms (Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, etc.)Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools (Datadog, Prometheus, etc.)
