Role Overview

We’re looking for a Database Engineer who can design, optimize, and maintain cloud-based databases that power our AI and automation systems. You’ll work on PostgreSQL databases deployed on GCP Cloud SQL and AWS RDS, ensuring speed, reliability, and security at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas for scalable applications.

• Manage and monitor databases on Cloud SQL and RDS.

• Write, test, and optimize SQL queries and indexes.

• Set up backups, replication, and failover mechanisms.

• Handle connection pooling and optimize performance under load.

• Ensure data security, encryption, and access control.

• Collaborate with developers and AI teams for data architecture design.

Requirements

• 0–4 years of experience working with PostgreSQL or MySQL

• Knowledge of GCP Cloud SQL or AWS RDS database setup and management.

• Understanding of schema design, indexing, and query optimization.

• Basic knowledge of backups, replication, and data recovery.

• Familiarity with Cloud Monitoring, IAM, and data security practices.

• Scripting experience in Python or Node.js is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to vector databases (Weaviate, FAISS, or Qdrant).
• Experience with ORMs (Prisma, Sequelize, TypeORM).
• Knowledge of Redis caching or multi-region setups.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹447,536.23 - ₹639,809.52 per year
