Description & Requirements

We are looking for a SQL Server Database Administrator with strong performance tuning and TSQL skills to help manage a large enterprise fleet in the cloud. The successful candidate will have deep database knowledge, Performance Tuning skillset, very strong problem-solving skills, and project management skills. Experience with other database management systems such as Postgres, Aurora or Oracle is required. Cloud Experience strongly preferred.
Essential Duties:

Understanding of SQL Server and Microsoft Windows. This includes backups, recovery, and tuning
Programming/Scripting skills with PowerShell, Python, Bash, Perl, or other scripting languages
PowerShell and T-SQL programming and Execution
SQL Server Database Administration and Performance-Tuning
Participation in DevOps processes
Windows O.S. management and Tuning
Backup and Recovery tasks
Capacity planning
hands-on/experience with AWS services
Strong Knowledge of Aurora/Postgres and Oracle is a must.
Knowledge of other operating systems such as Linux.
Problem-solving skills
Project management skills
Experience with Storage systems
Experience with Networks
Flexibility to work in different shifts.
