Job Description

Database Design and Implementation: Designing and developing database structures to meet specific business needs. Ensuring data integrity and consistency through proper schema design and constraints. Optimizing database performance for speed and efficiency. Database Maintenance and Management: Monitoring database performance and identifying areas for improvement. Implementing and managing database backups and recovery procedures. Ensuring data security through access controls, encryption, and other security measures. Updating and patching database software and systems. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving database performance issues and errors. Investigating and resolving data corruption or integrity problems. Providing technical support to end-users and developers regarding database issues. Other Responsibilities: Creating and maintaining database documentation. Training others in database management techniques. Collaborating with developers and other IT staff to ensure database needs are met.
