Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with hands-on experience in Postgres to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of SQL queries, database management, and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, monitor, and maintain Postgres databases.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.
• Perform database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Monitor database health and ensure high availability.
• Manage user access, roles, and permissions.
• Support application teams with database-related issues.
• Maintain data security, integrity, and compliance.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of Postgres database administration.
• Proficiency in SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures.
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
• Understanding of backup and recovery processes.
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix commands (preferred).
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience as a DBA (Postgres).
