Job Description

Database Administrator

You’ll work closely with application, infrastructure, and support teams to keep databases running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain
relational and/or NoSQL databases
Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity
Perform
backup, recovery, and disaster recovery
operations
Tune queries, indexes, and database configurations for performance
Manage database security, access controls, and user permissions
Support application teams with database-related issues and changes
Handle database upgrades, patches, and migrations
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance standards
Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience with
MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle / SQL Server
(any one or more)
Proficiency in
SQL
and performance tuning
Hands-on experience with
backup and recovery strategies
Understanding of
replication, clustering, and high availability
concepts
Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting production databases
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
