Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled

Data Warehouse Engineer

to design, build, and optimize large-scale data warehouse and analytics solutions. The candidate must have deep expertise in

data modeling, ETL development, SQL optimization, and cloud-based data platforms

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop data warehouse architecture, ETL pipelines, and data models.
Implement and manage data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes.
Work with business analysts and data scientists to ensure reliable, high-quality data availability.
Optimize performance of data pipelines and queries.
Implement data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks.
Manage deployments on cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.
Maintain documentation and enforce best practices for scalability and security.

Required Skills

Strong experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, DataStage, Azure Data Factory, or Apache Airflow).
Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and query performance tuning.
Deep knowledge of data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas).
Hands-on with cloud data warehouses (AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery, Azure Synapse, or Snowflake).
Proficiency in Python / PySpark / Scala for data transformation.
Experience with data lakes, metadata management, and data cataloging tools.
Understanding of CI/CD for data pipelines and version control (Git).

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.

Preferred

Cloud certification (AWS Data Analytics, Azure Data Engineer, or GCP Data Engineer).
Experience in real-time streaming (Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub).
Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
