Data Visualization Specialist (PowerBI)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer with a strong background in building data visualizations and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing financial statements and reports using Power BI and a solid grasp of data modeling, DAX, and data storytelling. You will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports that provide insights into business operations, with a focus on financial data.
• Create data models and implement DAX measures to support various reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
• Optimize Power BI data sets for performance and scalability.
• Maintain and enhance existing Power BI solutions to improve usability and data quality.
• Integrate multiple data sources (such as SQL databases, Excel, APIs) into a cohesive reporting structure.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all data and reports delivered.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.
• Proven expertise in building financial dashboards and statements using Power BI (Income Statements, Balance Sheets, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in SQL or equivalent query tools for data extraction and transformation.
• Good understanding of data modeling, relationships, and DAX functions in Power BI.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail in data visualization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with other Business Intelligence tools and platforms is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in agile teams and with remote/hybrid setups.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
