Key Responsibilities

• Collect and process structured and unstructured data from websites, APIs, and internal databases
• Scrape entertainment-related data (e.g., movie listings, showtimes, ratings, social media trends) using automated tools or scripts
• Clean, validate, and organize datasets for analysis and reporting
• Maintain and update Excel-based dashboards and trackers for internal teams
• Collaborate with content, marketing, and analytics teams to ensure data relevance and accuracy
• Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot inconsistencies or errors
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and copyright regulations
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data collection, scraping, or processing
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation, etc.)
• Familiarity with web scraping tools (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium) or willingness to learn
• Experience working with entertainment data (e.g., OTT platforms, box office, music, events) preferred
• Basic understanding of data cleaning and transformation techniques
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple data sources
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

• Knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation
• Experience with Google Sheets, Power BI, or Tableau
• Understanding of SEO, social media analytics, or audience behaviour metrics
• Prior work with entertainment platforms, production houses, or media agencies
