Job Title: Data Scientist – AI & Algorithms Location: On-site – New Delhi Company: WaysAhead Technology Pvt. Ltd. Vertical: Data Engineering & AI Innovation Experience: 2–6 years Open position: 1 Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with a strong foundation in algorithms, large language models (LLMs), and computer vision. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Python and capable of building scalable, production-grade AI solutions from development to deployment. You will be working at the intersection of retail intelligence and cutting-edge AI, contributing to the design of smart systems and APIs for real-time business impact. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement machine learning models for classification, recommendation, NLP, or vision-based tasks. Develop and fine-tune LLMs or implement RAG-based systems. Write clean, modular Python code for algorithmic models and data workflows. Develop REST APIs for model access and integrate them into existing platforms. Deploy models to production environments using Docker, FastAPI, or Flask. Collaborate with product and business teams to understand use cases and deliver AI-driven features. Skill Set: Must have skills: Python (Advanced) Machine Learning (Sklearn) Algorithm Development LLMs / NLP / Transformers REST API Development Model Deployment (Docker etc.) FastAPI / Flask HuggingFace / OpenAI APIs MsSQL RAG / Fine-tuning pipelines Good to have skills: PostgreSQL Git / CI-CD basics Prompt Engineering / Embedding use LangChain, Unsloth, Vector DBs (FAISS) Streamlit / Gradio UI wrappers Nice to have skills: Azure / AWS ML deployment pipelines ONNX / Model Optimization Computer Vision (OpenCV, YOLO, etc.) PyTorch / TensorFlow (Intermediate) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contractual / Temporary Contract length: 12 months Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Quarterly bonus Work Location: In person Expected Start Date: 10/06/2025
