This role will drive critical business insights for senior leadership to tackle key strategic questions and improve how we operate as a business. You will facilitate important changes that will shape the future of PayPal leveraging data and AI to drive next-level fraud risk insights. Your way to impact You will be the data scientist on Business Intelligence team , where you will work on leading new projects to build and improve the tools and use of data to inform business decisions. In this position, you will use a variety of methodologies and approaches to strengthen and improve the existing business portfolio, including data exploration and analysis, developing metrics, and building new features through ML, AI or other suitable technologies. Your day to day Collaborate with teams to develop strategies and insights to support fraud prevention, loss impacts, and operational efficiencies. You will work together with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions and providing analytics and governance over financial and operational metrics. These solutions will adapt PayPal s advanced proprietary fraud prevention and experience mechanisms, enabling growth. What do you need to bring- 7-9 years of relevant experience working with large-scale complex dataset and analytics. SQL, BigQuery, R, Tableau, Python is a plus and skilled at data visualization proficient with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Foster partnerships, communication, trust, and patience to support data-driven solutions addressing complex business problems across cross-functional teams. Ability to articulate data-driven insights into compelling narratives to facilitate business decisions, even when faced with uncertainty and intricate topics.
