Job Description – Data Scientist (AI/ML & Data Engineering Focus)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Data Scientist with strong expertise in AI/ML and Data Engineering to design data pipelines, build machine learning models, and deploy scalable AI-driven solutions. The role requires a balance of statistical analysis, machine learning expertise, and data engineering skills to transform raw data into actionable insights and intelligent systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and transform large structured and unstructured datasets for analysis and model training.
• Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning & deep learning models for predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• Design and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and real-time data processing systems.
• Deploy ML models into production using MLOps practices, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product managers to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
• Implement data governance, quality checks, and performance optimization for analytical workflows.
• Communicate complex data insights in clear, actionable ways to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, AI/ML, Statistics, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL (R/Scala is a plus).
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Proficiency in big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) and data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for AI/ML deployment.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong grasp of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

• Experience with deep learning (NLP, computer vision, recommendation systems).
• Background in real-time analytics and event-driven architectures.
• Prior experience deploying AI/ML solutions in production at scale.
• Graduation before 2023 (Application accepted till 2022 Batch only)
