About Cisco Spaces Cisco Spaces is a category defining cloud platform that revolutionizes the way businesses interact with physical spaces. By seamlessly connecting people and things, Cisco Spaces enables IT and business teams to drive impactful outcomes at a global scale by demonstrating their existing Cisco infrastructure. The team is looking to bring on a Data Science Manager, whose main responsibility is around leveraging wifi and sensor data to generate metrics around occupancy, environment etc within indoor spaces Driving customer usage of our apps and data for specific use cases and getting them to see value. Supporting and engaging large customers whose use cases are primarily data driven. Supporting large deals particularly those with a strong Data or Occupancy component. Using data based diagnostics to diagnose product and customers related problems. Responsibilities: Analysis of cross-customer and customer specific data. Analysis for diagnosis of product and customers specific problems and also to demonstrate value of our data to customers. Support sales and product adoption for data related use-cases (occupancy, captive portal, behavioral metrics, BMS integrations etc) Help design monitoring tools to detect product and customer relative issues around product Customer demonstrations of more sophisticated data products like Firehose. Engineering/Product linkages Collaborate with specialist teams to help deliver solutions. (Webex, Meraki etc) Leverage on ML based approaches for fault detection tools, for trends and also customer/category analysis Qualifications: Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Maths or a related technical field Proficiency in programming and scripting languages R and/or Python Experience using relational database - SQL Basic proficiency with Machine Learning methods and applications Skills: Passion for problem solving.
