Data Science Manager

As a Data Science Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be a part of the Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence organization. Your primary role will be to define, drive, and deliver end-to-end smart manufacturing solutions that are coordinated across different functions of the business. By applying industry-leading methodologies in automation, AI, and machine learning, you will contribute to enhancing Micron's product development, business processes, and administrative operations. **Responsibilities And Tasks:** - Collaborate with smart manufacturing strategy leads to develop and implement smart manufacturing applications across all Micron Sites. - Influence and devise data science strategies and applications. - Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to Site area teams for building and/or identifying optimal solutions, addressing existing issues, and deploying new solutions. - Assist in resolving complex application challenges by offering solutions and mentoring for resolution. - Evaluate relevant area solutions, including the selection of external software and hardware, if necessary. - Stay updated with site-specific business practices at each location. - Apply a wide range of disciplines including mathematics, statistics, information science, computer science, signal processing, probability models, machine learning, data mining, database management, pattern recognition, visualization, predictive analytics, and more. - Possess strong software development skills. - Demonstrate strong UI/UX design skills with proficiency in Web Technologies (Angular is a bonus). - Lead research initiatives and stay current with the latest advancements and trends in data science tools and techniques. - Conduct interviews, assess jobs to be done, and collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop machine learning models, create user-friendly applications, integrate with existing systems, and showcase successful use cases. **Benefits:** - Get the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology!
