Data Privacy & GRC Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of data privacy policies and compliance programs.
• Support privacy impact assessments (PIAs/DPIAs) and vendor risk assessments.
• Help maintain documentation, including Records of Processing Activities (RoPA).
• Monitor and track regulatory developments and support policy updates as needed.
• Coordinate and help respond to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).
• Support internal audits and compliance reviews related to privacy and risk controls.
• Help develop and maintain privacy awareness training and internal communications.
• Collaborate with teams like Legal, IT, Security, and HR on privacy-related matters.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a privacy, GRC, compliance, or IT security support role.
• Basic understanding of data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
• Familiarity with data mapping, classification, and third-party risk concepts.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Exposure to GRC tools like OneTrust, TrustArc, or ServiceNow GRC.
• Knowledge of privacy frameworks or security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Certifications such as
