Role Overview: As the Data Practice Head, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the data strategy of the company. Your main responsibilities will include driving innovation, overseeing the development and delivery of data solutions, and providing strategic leadership to align data initiatives with organizational goals. Your proficiency in data management, analytics, and AI/ML technologies will be crucial in establishing the company's data practice as a high-performing entity. Key Responsibilities: - Define and implement the overall strategy for the Data Practice to align with business objectives. - Lead and develop a team of data professionals, including data engineers, analysts, and data scientists. - Establish best practices, frameworks, and methodologies for data management, analytics, and governance. - Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to design data-related solutions for clients. - Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data and analytics. - Advocate for the adoption of advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning solutions to address complex business challenges. - Utilize hands-on experience with data platforms, ETL tools, data lakes, and warehouses. - Demonstrate proficiency in advanced analytics, AI/ML, and visualization tools. - Exhibit expertise in Database Technologies such as Snowflake, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, SQL Server, Synapse, HDFS, Hive, and HBase (NoSQL). - Utilize data processing tools and frameworks like Kafka, Kafka Streams, Azure Data factory, Azure Data Bricks, Power BI, and Tableau. - Apply strong people management skills to mentor and develop teams. - Translate complex data concepts into actionable business insights. - Demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Apply problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities in decision-making processes.
