We are looking for a highly experienced Principal Presales Architect with a strong background in AWS cloud services to take charge of strategic engagements with enterprise clients. In this role, you will play a pivotal role at the nexus of technology leadership and customer interaction, necessitating a profound comprehension of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and data platform services. Your primary focus will be on driving business value through cloud adoption and facilitating digital transformation initiatives. As a key member of the sales and solutioning team, you will collaborate closely with business development, account executives, product managers, and engineering professionals. Your responsibilities will include crafting cloud-native architectures, conducting in-depth technical workshops, and influencing key executive stakeholders. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: Presales & Customer Engagement: - Serve as the technical lead in pivotal sales opportunities, supporting cloud transformation endeavors across various industry verticals. - Develop and deliver end-to-end cloud solutions customized to individual client requirements, with a specific emphasis on AWS architectures encompassing compute, networking, storage, databases, analytics, security, and DevOps. - Present technical content, proof of concepts (POCs), and solution workshops to both executive and technical decision-makers. - Work together with sales teams to create proposals, respond to requests for proposals (RFPs), outline solution roadmaps, and perform total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI) analyses. - Initiate early-stage discovery sessions to identify business goals, technical needs, and success criteria. - Take ownership of the solution blueprint and ensure alignment among technical, business, and operational teams. Architecture & Technology Leadership: - Design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions utilizing AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, Redshift, EKS, among others. - Lead the design of data platforms and AI/ML pipelines by leveraging AWS services like Redshift, SageMaker, Glue, Athena, EMR, and integrating with third-party tools as required. - Assess and recommend multi-cloud integration strategies (experience with Azure/GCP is advantageous). - Provide guidance to clients on cloud migration, modernization, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines. - Collaborate with product and delivery teams to align proposed solutions with delivery capabilities and innovative practices. - Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and AWS service updates, integrating new features into client solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications: Technical Expertise: - Possess a minimum of 15 years of experience in enterprise IT or architecture roles, with at least 10 years dedicated to cloud solutioning/presales, particularly in the AWS domain. - Demonstrate deep expertise in AWS IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, covering services in compute, storage, networking, databases, security, AI/ML, and observability. - Hands-on experience in designing and deploying data lake/data warehouse solutions using Redshift, Glue, Lake Formation, and other components of the data ecosystem. - Proficiency in crafting AI/ML solutions with SageMaker, Bedrock, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks. - Familiarity with multi-cloud architectures and hybrid cloud solutions; practical experience with Azure or GCP is a bonus. - Strong command of solution architecture best practices, cost optimization strategies, cloud security protocols, and compliance frameworks. Presales & Consulting Skills: - Track record of success in technical sales roles involving intricate cloud solutions and data platforms. - Ability to effectively influence C-level executives and technical stakeholders. - Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities to convey complex technical solutions in business terms. - Experience in proposal development, RFx responses, and pricing strategy. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with a customer-centric approach.,
