Data Practice Head

As the Data Practice Head at our company, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our data strategy, fostering innovation, and establishing a high-performing data practice. Your role will require you to possess visionary leadership qualities along with a profound understanding of data management, analytics, and AI/ML technologies, complemented by a robust business acumen to align data endeavors with organizational objectives. It is imperative that you demonstrate proficiency in designing, developing, and delivering data solutions across the board. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute the overarching strategy for the Data Practice in alignment with business goals. - Drive the adoption of modern data platforms, tools, and technologies to elevate organizational capabilities. - Establish and lead a proficient team of data professionals, comprising data engineers, analysts, and data scientists. - Develop best practices, frameworks, and methodologies for effective data management, analytics, and governance. - Conduct training programs to enhance the skills of team members and promote innovation within the practice. - Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to devise data-centric solutions for clients. - Engage with stakeholders to comprehend their business challenges and craft customized data-driven strategies. - Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the data and analytics domain. - Advocate for the integration of advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning solutions to address intricate business issues. - Leverage your extensive experience in data management, analytics, and leadership to drive the practice forward. - Demonstrate a proven track record in establishing and expanding data practices in consulting or enterprise settings. Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with data platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, ETL tools, data lakes, and warehouses. - Proficiency in advanced analytics, AI/ML, and visualization tools like Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI. - Familiarity with Database Technologies including Snowflake, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, SQL Server, Synapse, HDFS, Hive, and HBase (NoSQL). - Proficiency in data processing tools and frameworks such as Kafka, Kafka Streams, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Power BI, and Tableau. - Strong people management skills, with a background in mentoring and developing teams. - Ability to translate intricate data concepts into actionable business insights. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
