Data Lead - Manufacturing and Distribution

Role Overview: As a Make to Deploy/Distribute to Deliver Data Lead at McCormick, you will be responsible for various data activities within the manufacturing and/or distribution process areas on Program Leo. Your role will involve handling data conversion, validation, construction, and governance tasks to ensure efficient data management processes. Key Responsibilities: - Data Conversion: - Perform Functional Specification Mapping. - Implement Conversation action rules. - Manage cross-reference files. - Design and create business rules. - Conduct Functional Unit Testing. - Data Validation: - Conduct pre-load and post-load validation activities. - Coordinate with the cutover team as per the project plan. - Act as the point of contact for part-time data validators. - Generate Data Validation reports. - Evaluate data quality/accuracy percentages. - Data Construction: - Populate data construction templates (DCT) based on process design decisions. - Collaborate with non-SAP legacy sites to align them with process design. - Regularly review and update DCT files leading up to load cycles. - Data Governance: - Review Functional Specifications with the GD team. - Perform user acceptance testing (UAT). - Define SLA and metrics for MDG workflows. - Manage data stewardship through MDG workflows.
