Data Governance Analyst

As a Data Governance Analyst at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of location strategy projects with a focus on planning, budgeting, quality, and governance standards. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain a comprehensive data and records governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards. - Monitor data quality and records metrics across the organization to ensure compliance with standards. - Identify and address data and records management risks and gaps. - Implement a records management program for proper identification, classification, storage, retention, retrieval, and disposal of records. - Devise and execute a data governance strategy that aligns with the bank's data management strategy and business objectives. - Provide guidance and training on Data and Records Management standard requirements at a Group-wide level. Qualifications Required: - Experience in data and record governance, data controls, and associated methodologies. - Proficiency in data products, cloud services, and data warehouses. - Background in business domains like Retail or Banking and regulatory reporting. - Ability to work in a regulated environment with a strong understanding of data and control risk management.
