Project management Project management Job Responsibilities Job Purpose: To work as Data Engineering Data Platform Support lead for Data lakehouse project. Be accountable for the successful rollout & Support of Data Engineering Solutions across a large-scale stake holder of Bank . Own the projects objectives/activities to ensure that risks and issues are appropriately and clearly managed or escalated. Communicate and manage senior stakeholders across multiple business lines. Establish an understanding of the business, develop a deep understanding of business needs, and build and shape delivery plans. Prepare and deliver presentations and facilitate decisions among senior stakeholders. Represent the role in line with the Banks culture, ensuring full transparency, auditability and value for money objectives are met/upheld. Understand data requirements projects of various internal department and regulators i.e. RBI, Compliance officers, Operations users. Review solution designs and improvise, write down and review test scenario, test plans. Prepare test bed for release deployment and perform testing as per test plan and strategy Maintaining and tracking defect tracker sheet Understanding the Source system Field Mapping for CDC ingestion and downstream pipeline. Use analytical tools to prepare sample reports/dashboard of requirements and take sign off. Should be able to Design once and use multiple times Work with various teams of the bank in order to define, design and deliver regulatory and internal data needs of the bank Prepare and Maintain dictionary of data that can be used as ready reckoner for future data servicing using tools recommended. Identify, analyze and automate repetitive data needs Responsible for tracking managing Technology Obsolescence, OS/DB/Middleware baseline management. Responsible for tracking managing Technology OS DBMiddleware upgrade activities. Responsible for tracking managing VAPT IA Obs. tracking , closure & Infra. Capacity Management, projection . Responsible for Deployments Mgmt , Dev-ops CI CD process & purging/backup policy Automations Managing Cloud Infra Scalability System stability Optimization. Responsible for Budget ,FPN, PO release activities & Vendor management activities. Highly organized, self-motivated, pro-active, and able to plan and execute plans Year of Experience: 13+ years Job Responsibilities : Project management - To design Solution, overview and manage end to end implementation of Data projects and enhancements. Evaluate/Recommend solution architecture. Review of project plan to ensure that adequate timeframe is committed for IT activities and to ensure that all aspects of Change Management are covered. Understand HDFC Banks operational and business project needs. Stakeholder Management Understand data requirements projects of various internal department and regulators i.e. RBI, Compliance officers, Operations users. Performance and Support Management- Review of volume estimations for new solutions, basis which infra requirements and performance tests to be planned and executed. Conduct periodic application projects review. Conduct application performance reviews with Vendor Identify potential system performance bottlenecks, get system architecture reviewed and change wherever required to resolve the performance bottlenecks. Build sufficient scalability in the applications to cater to high seasonal demands Progress Reporting : Periodic presentation to Senior Management Contribute to improvements & enhance efficiency of processes for effectiveness. Prepare project MIS to track, report and monitor the project schedule. Application Obsolescence Management: Review the application technology stack for obsolescence, initiate projects for the upgrade of the application software stack when applicable, plan and execute the same. Work with ITG to setup infra for projects. a. Planning and running meetings, effective follow-up. b. Delivery experience (Delegation, identifying and agreeing tasks, measuring, follow-up, management by objectives) c. Managing relationships, inter-department, peers, upwards, obtaining approval for projects, changes etc d. Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored. e. Submits project status reports to stakeholders; plans software releases; anticipates and reacts to change Change release management & Audit Compliance: Follow the Change and Release Management processes defined for the projects and tasks initiated as part of Project Management, Performance Management and Application Obsolescence Management Compliance to Bank IT governance policy and processes Ensure compliance for all the processes of project implementation within the team. Educational Qualifications : B.E B.Tech MCAInformation System MBA Key Skills : Good knowledge of Project Life Cycle Management: Project Support, Deployment, Testing, Debugging, Rollout Knowledge & practices of SDLC process and agile methodologies Excellent knowledge of on premise & cloud technologies (Azure preferred ). Excellent knowledge of working with Azure Cloud Technologies : ADLS Gen 2, Databricks, Events hub, Azure ADF, Azure function , Azure Logic Apps and DB repositories, Synapse, Delta Tables Experience working with relational databases Oracle , MSSQL , Db2 , Netezza etc. Experience working with NoSQL databases PostgreSQL, Mongo DB etc Experience working with scripting Excellent experience in data ingestion/message queue technologies - Golden gate , Kafka , Solace etc. Experience working with servers and OS - Unix , Linux , AIX etc. Experience working with scheduling tools Autosys, Azure Monitor etc. Experience working with project management, collaboration tools MPP , MS Share point, MS Teams Experience working with Incident Management, Defect Management Tools Service Now , JIRA etc. Exposure to application support architectural concepts/design across diverse technology platforms Good communication, Problem solving skills, Presentation & Networking Skills Broad understanding of IT standards and methodologies.
