Tencys is seeking a skilled andproactive SeniorData Engineer to join our Cognitron team. Youwill lead the development and delivery of business intelligence and dataengineering solutions using the Microsoft Analytics Stack ,including AzureData Factory , Databricks , Synapse ,and Fabric .You\u2019ll work closely with stakeholders to build scalable, reliable, andinsightful data solutions that drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver scalable data analytics solutionsusing Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, and Fabric.

Participate in architectural design and contribute to system-leveldecisions for data pipelines and platforms.

Collaborate directly with clients and internal stakeholders tounderstand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data platform technologiesand ensure data quality, integrity, and performance.

Apply data warehouse and lakehouse methodologies, includingmedallion architecture.

Conduct data profiling, anomaly detection, and dimensional datamodeling (Kimball).

Implement DevOps and CI/CD practices to support efficientdeployment and integration.

Provide technical mentorship to junior team members and contributeto a culture of engineering excellence.

Actively participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, andprogress tracking.

Basic Requirements

3-5 years of professional experience in data engineering.

Strong hands-on experience with AzureData Factory , AzureDatabricks , Azure Synapse ,and preferably Microsoft Fabric .

Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling (dimensional/Kimball).

Experience in building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines and working with large-scaledatasets .

Familiarity with datalakehouse and datawarehouse design principles.

Understanding of DevOps , CI/CD , and Agile engineering practices.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the abilityto engage directly with clients.

Self-motivated, independent worker with a proactive approach toproblem-solving.

PreferredQualifications

Microsoft Certification: Azure DataEngineer Associate or similar.

Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.

Exposure to AI/MLpipelines or advancedanalytics in Azure.

Experience working in globaldelivery or consultingenvironments .

Knowledge of datagovernance , securitypractices , and compliancestandards .
