Job Description

Role: GCP Data Engineering


Overview:

highly skilled Data Engineering professional


Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand client requirements and deliver

    effective, scalable solutions

    .
  • Analyze

    data transformation and translation requirements

    and select the appropriate tools.
  • Design, develop, and

    automate data pipelines on cloud platforms

    , ensuring clear documentation for reproducibility.

  • Mentor and guide team members

    through the development lifecycle.
  • Perform

    data quality testing and assurance

    while designing and implementing scalable solutions using SQL.
  • Follow

    deployment best practices

    , including automated unit testing and CI/CD processes.


Technical and Functional Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience

    in data engineering, including

    4+ years hands-on Python

    scripting and application development.

  • 3+ years hands-on experience with BigQuery

    and GCP components.
  • Expertise in

    data warehousing methodologies, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques

    .
  • Strong knowledge of

    SQL

    , including queries, joins, stored procedures, and user-defined functions.
  • Solid understanding of

    data architecture and solution design

    .
  • Experience with

    CI/CD, automated deployments, and QA/testing frameworks

    .
  • Familiarity with

    Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) analytical data stores

    .

  • Pub/Sub experience for streaming data
