Job Description

Job Title: Data Engineer

Job Sum y: We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in building and maintaining data lake solutions for telemetry data. The ideal candi will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring high-quality data ingestion, efficient storage, and enabling real-time analytics across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Lake Design & Implementation

Architect, develop, and maintain scalable data lake solutions to process large volumes of telemetry data.

Ensure data is stored efficiently and is easily accessible for analytics and downstream systems.

2. Data Pipeline Development & Management

Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines to ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability.

Implement itoring and alerting to ensure pipeline health.

3. Cloud Platform Integration

Utilize cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for scalable data storage and compute solutions.

Optimize cloud resource usage for performance and cost efficiency.

4. Data Modeling & Structuring

Design and implement effective data models to support analytics, reporting, and real-time insights.

Structure telemetry data for efficient retrieval and processing.

5. Data Integration & Management

Manage and maintain connectivity across all systems sending or receiving telemetry data.

Ensure smooth integration of diverse data sources into the data platform.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partners with data scientists, analysts, product teams, and engineering stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.

7. Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization

Diagnose and resolve issues within data workflows, pipelines, and storage systems.

Continuously improve performance, reliability, and scalability of data systems.
