Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Build and maintain
automated ETL/ELT pipelines
Design
data enrichment workflows
(transformations, validations, metadata enhancement)
Develop backend services and
REST APIs
using Python
Ingest and process
high-volume structured and unstructured data
Optimize databases and queries for performance
Implement
orchestrated and scheduled jobs
Ensure data reliability, monitoring, and documentation

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in
Python
(FastAPI / Django REST / Flask)
Experience with
ETL/ELT and workflow orchestration
(Airflow, Prefect, Dagster)
Strong SQL skills (
PostgreSQL / MySQL
) and query optimization
Experience with
NoSQL databases
(MongoDB, Redis)
Knowledge of
data modeling and schema design
Experience with
AWS
(S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS)
Docker
and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI)
Familiarity with
Linux, logging, and monitoring

System & Architecture Exposure

Microservices-based backend systems
Job scheduling, caching, and message queues
API rate limiting and scalable system design

Nice-to-Have

Experience with
data lakes
(S3, Delta Lake)
Exposure to
real-time data pipelines
(Kafka/Kinesis)
Familiarity with
Spark / Databricks
Experience with
LLM-driven data enrichment
(Chroma, LlamaIndex)
