About The role:

Data Engineer (7+ years)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using

  Azure Data Factory, Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake), and Kafka

  .
• Architect and implement robust

  data warehousing solutions

  on

  Snowflake

  and other cloud-native platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and consultants to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure

  data quality, integrity, governance, and security

  across all data platforms.
• Perform advanced

  data transformations, cleansing, and enrichment

  to support analytics and reporting.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline performance and reliability.
• Document

  technical designs, processes, and best practices

  .
• Design and implement

  healthcare-specific data models

  , including

  payer modules

  .
• Work closely with domain experts to develop

  conceptual, logical, and physical data models

  .
• Utilize

  data modeling tools

  (ER/Studio, Erwin, or equivalent) to build and maintain healthcare data models.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in

  data engineering

  with strong exposure to

  cloud platforms

  .
• Expertise in

  Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake), Apache Kafka, and Snowflake

  .
• Proven experience in

  ETL/ELT design, data warehousing, and data modeling

  .
• Strong understanding of

  cloud architecture, data governance, and security practices

  .
• Experience working in

  consulting environments

  with direct client engagement.
• Solid experience in

  healthcare data modeling

  , especially

  payer modules

  .
• Proficiency in

  data modeling tools

  (ER/Studio, Erwin, or similar).
• Demonstrated expertise in

  conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling

  .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with

  CI/CD pipelines

  and

  DevOps practices

  in data engineering.
• Knowledge of

  healthcare data standards

  and

  regulatory compliance (HIPAA, PHI)

  .
• Professional certifications in

  Azure, Databricks, or Snowflake
