Job Description

Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain
data pipelines
for batch and real-time processing.
Develop and optimize
ETL/ELT workflows
to ingest, transform, and load data.
Ensure
data quality, reliability, and governance
across systems.
Work with
cloud platforms
(AWS/GCP/Azure) to manage storage, compute, and streaming solutions.
Implement best practices for
data modeling, warehousing, and schema design
.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver scalable solutions.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize
data pipelines and workflows
.
Maintain
documentation
for data processes and architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in
Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
.
Strong proficiency in
SQL
and data modeling.
Hands-on experience with
ETL tools
(Airflow, dbt, Informatica, Talend, etc.).
Experience with
big data frameworks
(Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Flink).
Strong programming skills in
Python/Scala/Java
.
Familiarity with
data warehousing solutions
(Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse).
Experience working with
cloud data platforms
(AWS Glue, GCP Dataflow, Azure Data Factory).
Understanding of
data governance, security, and compliance
.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with
real-time streaming pipelines
(Kafka, Kinesis, Pulsar).
Exposure to
containerization & orchestration
(Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of
machine learning pipelines (MLOps)
.
Familiarity with
DevOps tools
for CI/CD in data engineering.
