Job Description

Hiring: Big Data Engineer (AWS + SQL Expertise)

Locations:

Experience Level:



Key Skills Required (Must Have):

  • Cloud:

    AWS Big Data Stack – S3, Glue, Athena, EMR

  • Programming:

    Python, Spark, SQL, Mulesoft, Talend, dbt

  • Data Warehousing & ETL:

    Redshift / Snowflake, ETL/ELT pipeline development

  • Data Handling:

    Structured & semi-structured data transformation

  • Process & Optimization:

    Data ingestion, transformation, performance tuning


Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

  • AWS Data Engineer Certification
  • Experience with Spark, Hive, Kafka, Kinesis, Airflow
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira (ITSM tools)
  • Data modeling experience


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for diverse data sources
  • Clean, validate, and transform data for business consumption
  • Develop data model objects (views, tables) for downstream usage
  • Optimize storage and query performance in AWS environments
  • Collaborate with business & technical stakeholders
  • Support code reviews, documentation, and incident resolution.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
