Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the data science team to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure its accuracy and suitability for analysis.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to automate data ingestion and transformation processes.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights in large datasets.
• Utilise statistical techniques to perform data analysis and generate actionable insights for clients.
• Build and implement predictive models using machine learning algorithms to support decision-making processes.
• Create visualisations and dashboards to communicate analysis results and findings effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Continuously improve data quality, data integrity, and data security practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data analysis and machine learning.
• Assist in the development and improvement of GeoIQ's location AI platform through data-driven insights.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas and solutions.
  

Requirements

• Proficient in Python.
• Experience with R is a plus.
• Ability to analyse large datasets and draw insightful observations.
• Work experience of 1+ years with at least 6 months working with Python.
• Prior experience with data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Prior experience with SQL.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques.
• Experience with working on Spatial Data will be an added advantage.
