Key Responsibilities

• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from SQL Server databases.
• Work extensively with

  within databases, including interpreting, extracting, and converting JSON into relational/columnar formats.
• Collaborate with data science and analytics teams on

  feature store usage

  , ensuring data availability and accessibility for modelling purposes.
• Develop robust

  Python scripts

  for automation, data extraction, transformation, and integration tasks.
• Perform

  data governance checks

  to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Translate business and project requirements into technical data solutions.
• Document processes, workflows, and data handling practices to support knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years

  of proven experience in SQL development, database management, and optimization.
• Strong experience handling

  JSON data

  within databases and transforming it into relational structures.
• Familiarity with

  feature store concepts

  in data engineering environments.
• Proficient in

  Python scripting

  for ETL, automation, and data processing tasks.
• Solid understanding of

  data governance principles

  and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in working on enterprise-scale projects (preferably in technology or product-based companies like Dell).

Good to Have

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data engineering workflows.
• Prior experience working in large-scale global teams.
