D365 Functional Consultant

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Identifying and analyzing business requirements and internal customer needs across multiple

European subsidiaries.

• Proposing and implementing tool and process improvements.
• Advising stakeholders on system queries and best practices.
• Supporting and managing implementation projects, including expansions and upgrades.
• Testing functionality of implemented tools in a production environment.
• Creating and correcting master data in the system.
• Conducting training sessions for target groups on implemented tools.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams across subsidiaries.
• Providing guidance on European accounting standards and local regulatory compliance.

Our requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree from a premium institute in Business Informatics, Business

Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration with focus on IT or Finance. An

MBA/MBE or PhD/DBA in a relevant field is a plus.

• 10+ years of professional experience in IT consulting, software delivery, or working in a large

Microsoft customer environment.

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on D365 F&O / AX 2012 experience, including full lifecycle

implementations.

• Strong understanding of European accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance.
• Experience in global, multi-country implementations.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in F&O modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Bank Management, Fixed Assets, Taxes, Project Management.
• Knowledge of Cost Accounting is welcome.
• Familiarity with Microsoft solutions (Azure, Power Platform, D365 CRM, Field Service, Project

Operations) and third-party ISV products.

• Technical and project management experience in roles such as Senior Consultant, Principal

Consultant, Technical Lead, or Architect.

• Hands-on experience with multi-country integration and localization requirements for D365

F&O.
