1. Act as the primary liaison for assigned clients, ensuring timely communication and resolution of queries related to accounting, taxation, and compliance matters. Build strong client relationships through proactive advisory and support. Identify opportunities for additional consulting services.
2. Review and monitor accounting records, financial statements, and management reports prepared by the internal team to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
3. Coordinate monthly/quarterly closing activities including ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
4. Stay updated on latest developments in Indian tax laws, accounting standards (Ind AS/IGAAP), and other regulatory frameworks to guide internal teams and clients effectively.
5. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
6. Ensure quality control, timely delivery, and adherence to professional standards.
7. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice. 8. Report to the management regarding the finances of establishment.
9. To ensure timely completion of all audits including audit support for clients
10. Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
11. Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
12. Handle client escalations and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
• University Graduate and Qualified Chartered Accountant
• Maximum 9-14 years post qualification work experience with a mid-size advisory or professional firm or a large multinational company
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written); knowledge of local language is a plus
• Candidates proficient in German language (oral and written) will have an added advantage • Strong interpersonal and project management skills
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and proactive attitude
• Proficiency in Tally / ERP / SAP / D365 and MS Excel
