Job Description

We are hiring for the role of D2C Sales Senior Manager. This is an individual contributor role

reporting to the Head of Online Business.


Location: Delhi / Mumbai / Bangalore


Role Purpose -

High degree of ownership and strategic accountability for driving merchant acquisition, partnerships, and revenue growth in India’s rapidly expanding D2C commerce segment. You will define and execute the D2C sales strategy, drive collaboration across product, marketing, and technology teams, and spearhead initiatives to position Pine Labs Online as the checkout and payment backbone for digital-first brands.


The responsibilities we entrust you with -

  • Enable the D2C Checkout business for online ecommerce companies in India
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of Pine Labs core products & Online payments biz.
  • Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target D2C markets.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with merchants/partners, fostering trust & loyalty through effective communication.
  • Foster strategic collaborations & drive business growth in D2C market.
  • Continuously research and remain knowledgeable of D2C industry trends and competition & suggest innovative strategies to tap merchants in growing D2C market
  • Devise marketing plan & formulate GTM plan in collaboration with sales team for new rollouts
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing and Product
  • Development, technology) to develop effective sales & GTM strategies that promote sales to new and existing customers.
  • Develop D2C strategy, tactics, GTM & sales plans and profit targets.
  • Serve as primary contact & support in onboarding D2C brands on Plural platform.
  • Deliver exceptional results


What matters in this role -

  • Years of Experience - 3 to 4 years in D2C sales roles preferably within the D2C solutions /payments industry and worked as an individual contributor.
  • Qualification: MBA , Masters (Engineering/Commerce/Science), BE/BTech.
  • Prior experience in Payments industry, E-Commerce, Solution selling is desirable but not necessary
  • Comprehensive understanding of D2C Market.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven sales experience in specified territories and verticals.
  • Able to drive customer centricity in the team.
  • Quick learner, adaptable to changing business needs.
  • The role involves extensive domestic traveling and hence candidates need to be prepared for the same
