Cybersecurity Specialist

We are looking for Cybersecurity Specialist to design, implement, and maintain robust security systems across our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will proactively safeguard IT assets and data, prevent security breaches, and respond effectively to security incidents.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of security frameworks, risk management methodologies, and hands-on experience with security tools to ensure our technology environment remains secure and compliant.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze IT setup and specifications to identify and assess security risks.
• Design and implement security measures, data protection, and recovery plans.
• Conduct security tests and ethical hacking of existing architecture.
• Install, configure, and upgrade vulnerability scanning tools.
• Monitor and analyze security reports regularly to detect issues.
• Plan and implement solutions to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Inspect hardware for potential security risks and apply mitigation strategies.
• Respond to privacy breaches and malware threats promptly.
• Manage security incidents and prepare detailed reports. users

Technical Requirements:

• 3 to 8 years of experience as a Computer Security Specialist.
• Strong knowledge of current security risks, protocols, and best practices.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; certifications like

  CEH

  or

  CompTIA Security+

  will be added advantage
• Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP) and risk management methodologies.
• Expertise in patch management, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
• Hands-on experience with security tools: Kali Linux, Nmap, Wireshark, Nessus, Nexpose, Snort, Burp Suite, Nagios.
• Basic understanding of web development technologies (Java) and secure coding practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in teams..
