Role Summary

Platform Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute

  Internal Developer Platform strategy

  aligned with engineering needs, treating the platform as a product
• Design self-service platforms for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and security
  
• Architect and manage

  enterprise Kubernetes platforms (AKS)

  with multi-cluster, high-availability designs
• Implement Kubernetes namespaces, resource quotas, network policies, and pod security standards
  
• Build and integrate platform tooling including

  Backstage, ArgoCD, Flux, Crossplane, and Vault

• Design and manage

  CI/CD pipelines

  and GitOps-based workflows
• Implement

  Infrastructure as Code

  using Terraform, Pulumi, and Azure Bicep
• Establish

  policy-as-code

  using OPA, Kyverno, and Azure Policy
• Enhance

  developer experience

  through self-service portals, templates, automation, and documentation
• Implement robust

  security and compliance frameworks

  , including RBAC, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and audit logging
• Design observability solutions using metrics, logs, and distributed tracing
  
• Support

  multi-cloud and hybrid architectures

  with disaster recovery strategies
• Collaborate with engineering, SRE, and security teams to drive platform adoption
  
• Lead innovation through evaluation of emerging cloud-native technologies

• 7+ years

Certifications (Preferred)

• CKA / CKAD
  
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
  
• Terraform Associate
  
• CKS, GitOps Associate (added advantage)
